At a Special General Meeting on 21 April 2026, the MTA membership voted to amend the Rules of the Association (as per the notice of the changes forwarded to all members on 27 March 2026).

 

Following the successful vote, on 5 May 2026 a declaration has been lodged to advise the Fair Work Commission of the amendments as per Regulation 126 of the Fair Work (Registered Organisations) Regulations 2009.
