Neville Attenborough, owner of Auburn Service Centre, recently celebrated a significant milestone: 25 years as a proud member of the MTA.

He started his career in the automotive industry at 15 with an apprenticeship at Tea Tree Gully, inspired by his father’s own automotive business. This experience sparked Neville’s passion, leading him to establish Auburn Service Centre in 1998.

Auburn Service Centre offers a wide array of services catering to all types of vehicles, ranging from 4WDs, luxury cars, sports cars, commercial vehicles, and more.

Neville’s connection with the MTA began during his time at Toyota dealerships – all MTA members in their own right. His work has taken him to various locations across Adelaide, Alice Springs, Clare, Whyalla, Mount Barker, and back to Auburn, primarily within Toyota dealerships.

Reflecting on the MTA’s support over the years, Neville highlights the MTA’s key role in providing valuable and up-to-date information, as well as assistance with workplace relations services.

A big advocate for guiding young talent in the automotive industry, Neville has mentored several apprentices throughout his career. He is currently hosting an MTA apprentice who shows dedication and a strong work ethic. Neville stresses how important reliability and consistency are for succeeding in this industry.

Talking about what he enjoys most about his work, Neville shares his enthusiasm for overcoming repair challenges and continuously learning. As Neville celebrates his 25 years with the MTA, his commitment to excellent service and passion for automotive shine through.
