As part of MTA Training and Employment’s continued commitment to delivering high-quality automotive training across South Australia, the AUR20520 Certificate II in Automotive Servicing Technology is set to expand to even more school sites in 2026.
We’re pleased to confirm that Reynella East College will begin hosting the Certificate II program next year, giving southern suburbs students hands-on access to industry-standard training and equipment.
In Adelaide’s north, Playford International College, in partnership with the NASSSA group of schools, will also deliver the program in 2026 under a new agreement. This will further strengthen access for students exploring a future in automotive from within the northern region.
We’re also proud to continue our successful partnership with Urrbrae Agricultural High School, who will once again host the Certificate II program next year.
Additionally, we’re working towards reactivating our Cleve training centre on the Eyre Peninsula to support delivery of the Certificate II in Automotive Servicing Technology in 2026. This will re-establish an important regional pathway for students looking to stay local while beginning their automotive careers.
These programs are part of the VETRO pathway, providing students with an ideal introduction to automotive trades and setting them up for apprenticeship opportunities. Delivered by industry experts using modern tools and technology, the course develops essential skills in servicing operations, vehicle system inspection and workshop safety.
