The Motor Trade Association SA/NT will proudly commemorate its centenary in 2026. This significant milestone presents a unique opportunity to reflect on the MTA’s legacy, the evolution of our industry and the collective contributions of our members and industry over the decades.

As we prepare for this historic celebration, we are currently gathering archival materials to showcase our journey and recognise the people and moments that have shaped the MTA.

We need your help to achieve this. If you have any of the following, please get in touch:

  • Annual Reports and Annual General Meeting Minutes spanning the period from 1988 to 2010 (inclusive).
  • Documents relating to MTA’s history.
  • Historical artifacts that hold significance to the MTA’s history.
  • Photographic records of MTA events or activities.

Your contributions will help us build a meaningful collection that honours the past and inspires the future.
