The MTA Industry Advisory Council (IAC) recently met at the Adelaide Convention Centre, with members also joining online.
The meeting provided an important opportunity to discuss the critical challenges and priorities facing our industry. Members were also joined by State Shadow Minister for Training and Skills, Matt Cowdrey OAM MP, who outlined the Opposition’s seven-step plan aimed at addressing South Australia’s skills and training shortages – helping more young people to earn while they learn.
There was also strong discussion around the Motor Vehicle Insurance and Repair Industry Code of Conduct, particularly its impact on automotive parts.
