The MTA met with Treasurer and Minister for Education, Eva Lawler MLA, along with Ministers Joel Bowden and discussed the growth of MTA membership in the Northern Territory, our successful automotive apprentice mentor program, and plans to boost student participation in work experience and school-based apprenticeships.
The MTA also met with Department of Industry, Tourism and Trade Chief Executive Officer, Shaun Drabsch, together with Migration NT Director Pompea Sweet. MTA electric vehicle training, as well as our participation in migration delegations to the UK, Ireland and New Zealand were discussed in detail.

Finally, the MTA caught up with Acting Commissioner for Consumer Affairs, Rebecca Davey to discuss insurance disclosure obligations and push for choice of repair and relationship with repairer reforms to be brought to the Northern Territory.
