Mitsubishi Motors Australia officially handed over a donated Outlander Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) to support the MTA’s industry-leading training programs. The vehicle will be used from next year at Tonsley Technical College, giving students direct access to the latest hybrid technology.

I was joined by Carla Kruger, Director of People and Culture at Mitsubishi Motors Australia, and Jodi Ryan, MTA General Manager Apprenticeships, for the handover at our MTA Training and Employment Centre in Royal Park.

This partnership represents another important step in addressing the automotive industry’s evolving skills needs. Collaborations with manufacturers like Mitsubishi ensure our apprentices gain practical, hands-on experience with emerging technologies that are shaping the vehicles of tomorrow.

I extend my thanks to Mitsubishi Motors Australia for their generous donation and ongoing support in helping prepare South Australia’s future automotive workforce.
