The MTA recently hosted the second heat of the WorldSkills Australia Regional Competition at the Royal Park Training & Employment Centre! Seven talented automotive refinishing apprentices competed, showcasing their skills in priming, colour coating, design layout, masking, finishing, polishing, and decal application.

A huge thank you to MTA Team Leaders Daniel Dusi and Tynam Dean, and Mick from Axalta for their support and judging expertise, and to Painttech SA, Tonyin Australia, Axalta, and Rapid Refinish for sponsoring this event.

Well done to Lee-James, Slavko, Leon, Ayden, Walid, Zachary and Seamus for taking part. Best of luck in reaching the finals!

The regional finals will be held on September 18th and 19th at the Royal Park Training & Employment Centre, featuring eight finalists. We look forward to sharing more updates soon.
