The Department for Infrastructure and Transport (DIT) is upgrading how authorised agents and approved delegates process remote vehicle transactions online. Over the coming months, Service SA delegate transactions will progressively move from the legacy EzyReg platform to the new mySAGOV portal.
To help MTA SA/NT members navigate this change, we have summarised the key updates below and made the official DIT transition resources available for direct download.

Key Benefits & System Changes
The transition to mySAGOV brings several notable improvements to your business operations:
· Portable Delegations: Approved delegates are no longer tied exclusively to a single business. Delegates retain their status when moving between organisations and can be linked to multiple authorised agents under a single user account.
· Real-Time Account Control: Nominated account administrators can assign roles, update delegate permissions, allocate stored payment methods, and view transaction histories (retained for up to 3 years) directly online.
· Flexible Payment Management: Businesses can store up to six payment options (credit/debit cards or bank accounts).
Note: Direct Account Payments (bank account direct debit) are available to approved authorised agents, but are not available to used vehicle dealer delegates.
· Digital Refunds: In line with the phase-out of cheques across Australia, DIT has introduced overnight digital direct deposits for business refunds
· Enhanced Security: System access includes mandatory Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), smart dashboards, and 24/7 account recovery.
Transition Timeline: What Happens to EzyReg?
To ensure your daily operations run without interruption, both EzyReg and mySAGOV will operate simultaneously during the migration period.
Your business can continue processing transactions on EzyReg while setting up your mySAGOV credentials. Existing direct debit arrangements on EzyReg will remain active until the EzyReg platform is retired.
Quick Action Summary: Getting Prepared
1. Personal mySAGOV Accounts: All administrators and delegates must hold a personal mySAGOV account registered with their own personal email address.
2. Organisation Account Setup: Register your business account on service.sa.gov.au using your SA Client Number. (Refer to the downloaded guides above if you operate interstate or lack an SA Client Number).
3. Assign Roles & Payments: An administrator must log into the web portal, link active delegates using their SA Licence/Client Number, and allocate stored payment methods.
