The MTA had the pleasure of once again exhibiting at this year’s Adelaide Careers & Employment Expo, where we connected with hundreds of students, parents, teachers and future automotive professionals. The event attracted over 9,000 students from 110 high schools and colleges.
Our interactive display drew in record-breaking crowds, making this the most well-attended year we’ve experienced. From our classic MTA Monaro and a Harley-Davidson (supplied by Harley Heaven) starting up every hour, to the engaging hands-on activities, there was no shortage of excitement on both days.
A special thank you to Eblen for supporting the event and bringing along their apprentices to highlight the diverse career opportunities available across automotive trades. Their presence helped spark conversations around the future of the industry and what it takes to build a successful trade career. We also thank our valued members, CMI Toyota, CMV Truck Centre, Eagers Automotive and Northeast Auto Group, whose involvement made the event such a success.
We were pleased to see a number of young people expressing genuine interest in starting their journey in the automotive industry. It’s a powerful sign that the next generation is eager to learn, grow and drive the future of automotive forward.
