On Wednesday, November 27, Independent MLC Frank Pangallo introduced South Australia’s first legislation for vehicle inspections at the change of ownership for privately sold vehicles.

This announcement follows an event at the MTA Training and Employment Centre, where MTA Members PC Automotive, All In Vehicle Inspections, Taff’s Automotive, and Adelaide Automatics offered free vehicle inspections to the public.

The issue of vehicle inspections at change of ownership has long been a priority for MTA members. In response, the MTA will advocate to all sides of parliament to support Frank Pangallo’s legislation, which is expected to be debated in the new year.
