COURSE REQUIREMENTS
Due to changes in the South Australian Skills Act 2008, section 45a, which states: Training in trade must occur under training contract, the MTA can no longer offer this qualification as a fee for service arrangement, it must be completed under an Australian Apprenticeship. If you are not seeking a qualification and are wanting the units of competency only to complement your current skill set, you can complete these under a fee for service arrangement. You will not be issued a full qualification under this pathway. You can however, complete an Occupational Recognition assessment to receive recognition of trade equivalence. Contact the MTA to discuss this option.
