On 3 June 2024, the Fair Work Commission (FWC) made a decision to increase the National Minimum Wage by 3.75%. The MTA Workplace Relations team have now updated the relevant wage schedules for members to access.
These changes come into effect from the first full pay period from 1 July 2024. For example, if your business’ pay period is 24 June – 7 July, then the updated wage schedules will apply from 8 July 2024. As a business owner, you need to ensure that you adjust your employees’ pay to reflect the new rates where applicable.
